How
to download and change your desktop wallpaper
First, choose the size of screen wallpaper below that best matches
the resolution of your monitor. Then download the image to your
hard drive and replace your old wallpaper.
Here is how you can
download the image:
On a Windows machine,
right-click, or on a Macintosh, control-click on the correct image
below. Select "Download link to disk" or "Save
this link as" from the menu that appears. Follow the directions
and save the image to your computer's hard drive. Make note of
where the file is saved so you can find it later.
Once the image is downloaded
to your computer, replace your old wallpaper with the new file.
- On a Windows machine, right click on the desktop. Choose "Properties"
from the menu that appears, and choose the "Background"
tab. You will see a button that says "Browse"- click
this and then browse until you find the downloaded wallaper image.
Select it, and your desktop should update with the new image.
Exit the menu.
- On a Mac, control-click on the desktop. Choose "Change
desktop background" from the menu that appears. Choose the
"Desktop" tab, and click on the image of the screen.
Clcik on the button that says "Place Picture". If you
have wallpaper already, there will be a button that reads "Remove
Picture"- click this, and the old image is removed. The button
will now read "Place Picture". Click on this button,
and browse until you find the downloaded wallaper image. Select
it, and it will become your new desktop background. Exit the menu.
That's it! Now you have new wallpaper. Enjoy.
